Walnut Wood handle with stainless steel prongs. Overall Length: 14cm, Prong Length: 8.5cm

For distributing the coffee in the filter basket, eliminating all kinds of lumps and making the density of the coffee uniform.

This tool favours the uniform distribution of coffee inside the filter basket in order to facilitate its flow and uniform extraction. This improves the taste of the espresso coffee in the cup.

The WDT is named for John Weiss, who developed the technique back in 2005 as a way to compensate for grinders, especially smaller home grinders, that produced excessive clumps. The WDT became well-known among home baristas, and has been written about extensively in the years since.
